Ecobutton
The ecobutton plugs into the back of your computer and the Mood Light glows to draw the attention of the computer operator. When the computer is not in use, you simply press the button to instantly engage the eco energy saving ‘ecomode’. This will then make sure the computer and monitor operate in the most efficient low power mode. When you need to use the computer again, you simply press a key on the keyboard and you will return to exactly where you were before pressing the ecobutton.
The ecobutton is a ‘retrofit’ device so it will work on any PC without programming or software and a free software download that will actually calculate how much money you are saving and how much carbon you have reduced. The ecobutton on average will save £50 per computer per year based on 3 hours of use in an average 8 hour day!
